Here's my 100 words for this week's prompt!

July 29, 2015: When she opened the door, she wished

When she opened the door she wished that the garden and yard had been like she had left it. While they had been maintained, they had none of the English charm that she remembered. She wandered the dirt pathways through the flower garden looking for anything at all familiar. In a far, shady corner a splash of color peeked out from under a bush. Upon investigation, she discovered the original rosebush still there, small and hidden, but with 2 faded pink roses on it. Her heart warmed, and for the first time since “arriving” she felt that she was home.

 Now go enjoy the others!
