I've gotten a bit behind! Here are the last 3 prompts!

He wanted her job, it
would be easy enough to discredit her. He had done a little digging. Turns out,
she wasn’t from the great white north at all. She was a common human from
Miami. That’s right, Miami. No wonder she smelled of tanning lotion. It was one
thing to deceive the big guy, but to impersonate an elf! If all else failed he
would get the ear of Mrs. C, he could tell she never quite trusted Melissa. Who
ever heard of an elf named Melissa. He would be assistant to the vice reindeer
nutritionist in no time.
November 26, 2014: As he took in
the view from the twentieth floor, the lights went out all over the city
As he took in the view from the twentieth
floor, the lights went out all over the city. Even though he was expecting it,
it still had an unsettling effect on him. It was like watching a living thing
die. They didn’t all go out at once, but rather seemed to shimmer down like
falling stars. Even though there was no life to speak of in the skyscrapers
around him, the lights had given an illusion of activity, of industry, of other
humans near by. The dark buildings highlighted the silence. And now, more than
ever, he felt all alone.
December
3, 2014: His voice had never sounded so cold
He had found all the
bugs in his office, once he knew what they looked like, it had been easy, he
started spotting them everywhere. He couldn’t believe she didn’t trust him.
After all, she was the liar. She was the one that had betrayed him. All those
years looking the other way. And now, she had her discount private eye sneaking
into his office, putting all his toy spy gear he bought online everywhere. He
dialed his phone, not caring if they were listening. His attorney answered.
“We’re pressing charges“ he said, his voice had never sounded
so cold.
